The entire audience laughed heartily through the movie. Some very real issues are treated with grace. One of the more serious Tyler Perry movies, but the humor and friendship is funny and warm.

It has been said Women talk about their feelings, and Men hide behind their feelings. This type of problem solving makes it difficult for the two to find common ground to problem solve within relationships between Boyfriends/Girlfriends, and Spouses. This movie shows how adult human relationships can survive when the rules to relationships are used to help these children of Single Moms find common ground with their parents. Much laughter will be had, some tears will be shed, and above all, each of the 5 Single Moms will find love down the pathway to an enriched life where ever they may live, in city, town or State in USA, in the movie called "The Single Moms Club."

The Single Moms Club provides a realistic inside look of the issues that single moms face regardless of race, financial circumstances and other factors. It was realistic and entertaining. I am a single mom and I took my 8 year old son with me to see the movie. It is appropriate for children. If I were to rate it on a scale of 1-5, I would rate it at 3.5 stars.

This awful retread of a good idea, women bonding together for support and comfort, lacks even minimal chemistry between the leads. While each woman is an accomplished actor, it is clear that if these were the only 5 women left on the planet, they probably still wouldn't be friends. The writing is clumsy and unimaginative. The sexual innuendo is less like flirting and more like oral molestation. The stereotypical roles filled by the women are a disservice to the movie, the actors and any potentially even half aware and only half stupid audience members. This movie harkens back to Perry's first attempts that were so awful and heavy-handed, it was hard to sit still through them. Save yourself the grief and watch this one when it comes to your local cable network. That way you can fast forward past the awkward, awful parts, which is most of it.

There were so many scenes that were true to life. Situations where I could recall how I handled them. I laughed, I cried, and I had a really good time enjoying the moment. Finally someone gets it!!!
